Oxford is a cycling city, you can't go there and expect not to ride.
Three days ago, we decided we should find a shared biking program to get around Oxford faster. (Like Mobi bikes in Vancouver (the ones near our school that say "Shaw go") that are blue).
We did some research and found that "Pony bikes" are the best for us. They are small enough to fit me and big enough to fit Papa. (For those who don't know, Papa is my Dad, and Mama is my Mom).
We downloaded the app and Papa, Moss, and I went on a bike ride while Mama did some work at home.
We went on a ride through a big cow fields in the East of Oxford. There was cow poop everywhere!
We got lost. There was a path, so we followed it. You look to your right, there's a pile o' poop and some plants. Look to your left, there's a bridge, more plants, and another pile o' poop.
After lots of riding through poop, plugging our noses, lifting our bikes over planks of wood across rivers that were supposed to be bridges, and being followed by a cow half the time, we finally found a college. The only problem was that there was a sign that read:
NO BIKES ALLOWED
BEYOND THIS POINT
Being the Canadians we are, we went through anyways. Quietly, we passed through the college. When we got to the other side, we knew where we were. It was almost a 2 and a half hour ride, and we were all tired by the end.
So as you can see, "Pony bikes" are great.
