Warning: This will be a long blog.
Yesterday, we mostly stayed at home until lunch. After lunch, Moss, Mama (Cristie), and I decided to go swimming while Papa (Alex/Sasha) went to the grocery store. We walked to the closest swimming pool, but that pool is only for people over 16 years old (PROBLEM #1).
So we proceeded to another pool. We were going to take a bus, but the first bus didn't go to where we wanted to go (PROBLEM #2).
So we went to another bus, but then we learned that the buses don't take Mama's (Cristie's) credit card (PROBLEM #3).
Then we walked to a store to get change for the bus, but the store person said we had to buy ten pounds worth of stuff. Pounds are what they use for money here (PROBLEM #4).
After that we went to another store to get change for the bus and they had a cash machine. So that was good. Then we finally took a bus to the pool. :)
FINALLY, we went swimming. We had fun.
After swimming, we were going to take a taxi home because it was late. The first taxi cancelled (PROBLEM #5).
The second taxi was one minute away and then cancelled (PROBLEM #6).
By this point it was probably 7:20 PM, and we still hadn't had dinner! We were all cold and hungry. Mama talked to the taxi company on the phone. she was mad and said, "I want to talk to your MANAGER!" The manager sent us a taxi and it took about 10 minutes.
When we got home, Papa had made us some delicious meat pies and then we went to bed.
You may think I had a bad day because of all the problems; but wow that was an awesome adventure!
