Hello...
We have traveled a lot in the last little while. Here is the order and some things about it...
- Masada- Big mountain in the desert part of Israel where King Herod built a palace and a fortress. Then the Hebrews/Zealots/Jews took it over and so the Romans couldn't get to them because the mountain was steep, so they couldn't defeat them. Eventually the Romans built a ramp and were able to get up the Jews made a choice to kill themselves before the Romans got up so they didn't have to be their slaves.
- Kibbutz in the desert-We went to Ein Gedi and stayed in tents for a night and we got lots of Sufganiot! (Jelly donuts)
- Dead Sea-We went to the Dead Sea and floated around in the salt for a little while but I couldn't stay in for too long because the salt hurt my skin.
- Petra, Jordan Bedouin camp-We stayed in tents again and there were four blankets on each bed cause it was so cold!
- Look around in Florence- We went to Florence for two days to look around and drop our bags then we packed our little backpacks for two weeks and left for Sicily.
- Sicily- We went to Sicily for one week and had Nadya (our Aunt) and Emay (Elisabeth May/our Grandma) came to visit us.
- Where we are-We are now in Prague for a week and for Christmas.
- Where we are going-Then we go back to Florence for five months!
- Undecided- Then we don't know where we will go for the last two months, probably Norway and Greece.
- Home!-Then we go back to Vancouver again and that ends our year trip. Can't wait to see you all!
