Sir Winston Churchill

1.   Who was Winston Churchill?

Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill (1874 –1965) was a British politician, army officer, and writer, who was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. As Prime Minister, Churchill is most famous for leading Britain to victory in the Second World War. This is a picture of him.

2.  Where was he born?

Sir Winston Churchill was born at Blenheim palace. We went there on a "Field trip" and it's huge! This is a picture:

Whoever lived there would own more than 10,000 acres around the palace.

3.  What member of the British Royal family is Winston Churchill related to?

He is related to Princess Diana. Churchill is her 4th cousin 2 times removed.
