We recently left Israel and are now in Prague, but, I still have not blogged about Israel. While in Israel we went to the Dead Sea. It was a lot of fun. Once we got to the Dead Sea I saw a lot of people that had black skin in some places and white in others. Mama and Papa explained that people covered themselves with Dead Sea mud because it is supposed to be good for your skin. We floated around in the water for a while until our skin became covered in salt. While we were getting out both Papa and I noticed two different things at almost the same time. First I noticed that the “pebbles” at the bottom of the Dead Sea were actually little pieces of salt, then Papa noticed something on the bottom of the lake that looked suspiciously like a slug. Of course neither of us would touch it ... I was kind of worried that it would be poisonous. As I look back on it I wish I had touched it to see what it was. I did some research and found that there is life in the Dead Sea, but it is only bacteria. Dang it. Guess we did not discover a new species of slug.
